Hot Damn!
If you slept on Grand Theft Auto IV last year, you're one of the few. Released in March, the awesome action-adventure sold almost 6 million copies in its first week.
Now would definitely be the time to get on board. On Tuesday Rockstar Games released a new expansion pack to GTA IV. In other words, you pay a little extra change, download the new content and have a brand new adventure.
It is called Grand Theft Auto IV: The Lost and the Damned. And, unlike the original game, it's only on XBox 360.
The original GTA IV followed reformed Eastern European thug Niko Bellic through New York City - and, after some violent "conflict resolution", we realize Bellic isn't that reformed at all. Believe or not, The Lost and the Damned upgrade is actually grittier than Bellic's adventure. The focus is on motorcycle gang member Johnny Klebitz, a rugged guy who is an even bigger firestarter. It also takes place in The Big Apple, but with different locales, characters and situations. Imagine Hell's Angels revving down Times Square and you get the picture.
The Lost and the Damned is $20 to download off of XBox Live. It requires the XBox 360 GTA IV video game, so expect to drop another $50 or so if you don't have the original yet (and shame on you if you don't).
And don't expect The Lost and the Damned to hit the PlayStation 3 anytime soon. The upgrade is one of two XBox 360 exclusives. No word on any PS3 exclusives yet.
